Heart Opening Program Series (4 Sundays)

$60 total, 4-week program that uses basic meditation and practical mindfulness techniques.

Class Description

DATES: Sunday, Sept. 24th, Oct. 1st, Oct. 15th, Oct. 22nd (Skipping the 8th due to Thanksgiving) COST: $60 total for all 4 weeks Week 1: Gratitude ~ nothing gets the heart juices flowing quite like a little appreciation of life. We start the program off by 'counting our blessings', so to speak, and using practical exercises to more frequently focus on the positive. Week 2: Self-acceptance ~ we are often unaware of how hard we are on ourselves. The internal battle against ourselves can be immensely draining and sometimes overwhelming. Practice recognizing negative thoughts and how to work with your judgements and justifications. Week 3: Forgiveness ~ the burden of resentment, anger and frustration is a tiring one to carry. Letting go of past grievances opens up space for more positive emotions to be present. Week 4: Loving Kindness ~ with much hard work done over the first few weeks, it's time to bring it all home to the heart as we work through a metta meditation and spend time reflecting on our practice and setting an intention to continue to open our hearts.s
